Just to make sure you fully understand - If you should find a slug or snail in your food, take this PINWORM medication pictured here immediately. It’s available over the counter at pharmacies and does NOT require a doctors prescription! (Some pharmacies keep it behind the counter, but all you have to do is ask). THEN immediately follow up with your doctor to get a prescription for albendazole.
Pinworm will hopefully prevent the infectious larvae from burrowing through your GI and into your blood. It’s been tested in Petri dishes in our lab by Dr. John Jacob, but we need to follow up with a rat study. The albendazole will kill any larvae that may have gotten through into your blood. Follow the instructions on the box for Pinworm.
This pinworm medication is something you should seriously consider having at home for emergencies, especially if you have children.
